Cuatro

Hello! Thanks to all of you for the advice on my carpel tunnel! I am going to take it all into consideration! Today I am feeling a little better and thought I would tell you a story about prayer. Well, prayer and well....prayer. Okay this happened last year but I thought all of you would enjoy the story because it is quite the story. We inherited a dog when we started living in the house where we live. His name was Cuatro. He was just an old mutt but he was a sweet dog and I loved him. Greg was never very fond of him but of all the dogs that were around our home, he actually thought he was the best. One day Cuatro was hit by a car in front of our house. His back leg was broken and we were pretty sure his pelvis was broken too. He couldn't stand up at all. He was so pathetic. He would just cry and he would use the bathroom right where he was lying because he couldn't do anything else. So I sent Greg into town to find a vet that would come out to out village and put him to sleep. He searched and searched but no one would do it. Finally one man said he had an injection that he gave cows to put them down and he would give him that. However, he didn't give it in the right area and he just suffered all night long. It was horrible. I prayed God would heal him, but he was still really bad off. SO, I called a missionary friend who was a vet and he said just to give him as much over the counter medicine as I could and that should put him out of his misery. It was the only thing we knew to do to put him to sleep. So, I put about 50 pellets of rat poison, 20 Dramamine, 10 Tylenol PM and 10 Benadryl tablets all in hotdogs and hamburgers and fed it to him by hand. He ate every bite. Then I sat there holding him and cried. I prayed and prayed that God would either heal him or take him quickly so he wouldn't suffer anymore. I left him on our porch that night and said good-bye. The next morning I made Greg go see if he was still alive or not. He said, " Uh...Miss.. you need to come here." I said, " NO Greg, I can't bare to see him." He said, "No, you really need to come and see this." So, I reluctantly went to the window and what did I see? Cuatro running across the yard! Yes, he is our miracle dog!! The picture above was taken 2 weeks ago! He is the dog that God wasn't done with!! Just thought I would share that with you!! Love ya!
