Another lesson

Hello friends!

I have just sent out our monthly newsletter, so if you did not receive it and would like to, please email me and let me know. I wanted to tell you that yesterday after I posted this about the chickens, it was as if they said, "Hey, we have another one for you!" I was in my kitchen and I saw one little chick wandering around chirping wildly for his mama. I went outside to see what he was doing. He had gone off looking for food by himself and had gotten lost. His mama didn't know where he was and he didn't either. When he saw me, he ran and hid. Then when I tried to catch him, he ran further away, right out into the street. He then found a big pile of rocks and hid under them. Poor little guy, he was so scared. I had to call Greg for help. Greg came out and helped me move the big pile of rocks and way at the bottom was this little black chick. I picked him up and looked at him, like, don't you know that you are in big trouble? I took him back into the back yard to find his mama. I looked and looked and couldn't find her. However, she heard him chirping and left the eight others (sound familiar)flew up on a fence, wings out, very mad, and was ready to fight for her baby. I threw the chick at her and they were all happy again.

Last night I was talking to our friend, Angelica. Salvador, pictured here, is her husband. Salvador accepted Christ about 2 years ago and has had a rough 2 years, but has done, okay. He is a very weak Christian. She said Salvador had started drinking again on Sunday. Salvador is a recovering alcoholic and hasn't been drinking for about 6 months. He reminded me of this little chicken, running away from the Father and he headed right for danger. He is very sad, lonely and confused. He can't seem to tear himself away from his desires. Please pray for Salvador and Angelica. Thanks for praying!!

Please also pray for our little friend Clay, who was burnt in February. www.claydavidfite.blogspot.com He has had a rough few days and is really needing some extra prayer cover. Without you praying, don't know where we would be! Love to you all! Missy
