I Shall Not Be Moved!

God is Good! We made it from Puebla, Mexico to Rock Hill, SC with no problems. We were given a royal treatment and are so very blessed to work for a mission board that truly takes care of us.  We had a doctor accompany us all the way and he never left Greg's side. Greg had no complications which was a blessing for sure. I guess there was some concern with flying. We cannot tell you how blessed we feel. Thank you all for praying, your comments have blessed us all. We felt them throughout the day. We are very tired but are resting comfortably at my parent's home. As soon as we know something, I will let you all know. For now, please just continue to pray that Greg continues to feel well and we can get some answers and a solution to our problem on Monday.
Alex and Annie this morning at 4:30am ready to start the journey.

Alex and Greg ready to take the ambulance to the airport. Alex rode shotgun and thought he was big stuff. Greg was given the royal treatment and I am not too sure how he felt about it. ;o\

As we were flying today, an old hymn popped in my head. Thought I
would share it:

I Shall Not Be Moved

Glory hallelujah, I shall not be moved;
Anchored in Jehovah, I shall not be moved,
Just like a tree that's planted by the waters,
Lord, I shall not be moved.

In His love abiding, I shall not be moved;
In Him I'm confiding, I shall not be moved,
Just like a tree that's planted by the waters,
Lord, I shall not be moved.

If I trust Him ever, I shall not be moved;
He will fail me never, I shall not be moved,
Just like a tree that's planted by the waters,
Lord, I shall not be moved.

On His word I'm feeding, I shall not be moved;
He's the One that's leading, I shall not be moved,
Just like a tree that's planted by the waters,
Lord, I shall not be moved.

Chorus
I shall not be, I shall not be moved;
I shall not be, I shall not be moved;
Just like a tree that's planted by the waters,
Lord, I shall not be moved.

We are encouraged and looking at all of the silver linings! One of which was getting to see our sweet Jerod today! Thank you again for praying and I will respond to all of you when I can.
We love you, Greg, Missy, Jerod, Alex, Annie and Ali.

Unexpected Challenge

We always say you never know what your day will look like when you wake up here in Mexico. Everyday is truly a surprise. We are so very thankful to God that he has prepared us well for each day He has given us, whether the day will be raining or sunny or storming.
The past few months Greg has not been feeling well. After undergoing some tests/ct scans it has been determined that he has a brain tumor. This is never something you want to hear the doctor say. However, it is just a stormy day here in Mexico and we know that after every storm, the sun eventually comes out.
We are preparing to fly back to the US on Friday (the 4th) morning and Greg will see a neurosurgeon in Charlotte, NC on Monday. Soon after that we anticipate surgery. I would love to personally respond to every comment or post that is sent our way, however, that just isn't possible. Please know that I will read them all and relay your messages to Greg. We covet your prayers during this time. We know that God is big, bigger than a simple brain tumor! We are putting our trust in Him and know that He will see us through this no matter what the outcome. We have a true peace and are just looking forward to getting this part of the journey behind us. I will update on here regularly and put a link  on Facebook. We love you all and thank you for following us on this fun and sometimes crazy journey that God has called us to. We love you, Greg, Missy and kids

Romans 8:28
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
