Sniff.. Sniff... Bye Rachael!

Since Rachael has been here we have had such a great time! We have really enjoyed seeing our life through her eyes. I will be posting more pictures this week from her weeks here, but for now, these are just a few of her highlights.

We were on our way to one of our Bible studies. We are now very sad that she won't be coming with us anymore.

Rachael loves kids. Whatever her future holds, I know it will have something to do with children. They adore her!

She made her own pizza from scratch. Who needs Pizza Hut, right?

We did some Bible studies with our friend, Chata.

She practiced her English, yeah, English with some kids who have been brought up in the US and brought back here to a place they know nothing about. They liked speaking English with her.

She realized that all families, even m's need family days. She helped us enjoy our family days.

She also realized that one more person added to our family added more laundry! ;o) Which I told her she should get used to doing since she is about to start college! She wasn't too excited about that idea!

She tried A LOT of new foods! Green pepper, 1000 island dressing, deviled egg (which she called a devils egg!) broccoli salad, sunny side up egg, water melon, and goat. She liked the goat more than all the others, go figure!! We have laughed a lot over Rach's food issues. She was a trooper and did try the things we challenged her with. Now of course most of them were the things listed. The funniest night was when we told her we were eating Donkey meat and it was actually just steak. She believed us until the very end when we said, "You know it looks like steak and you could probably even call it steak, because... it is!" She just about died. :o)

Rachael has enjoyed looking at all of the exciting spiders, creepy crawlies and fun things like that. She was freaked out when I walked up and just smashed it with my shoe. ;o)

So I know she has learned a lot and we have enjoyed seeing her learn it! How fun! Sure do love her! Please pray for her travels! Love, Missy
