Chicken Pox!
Well, I thought that the vaccination that was given to my children for Chicken Pox was sufficient, I guess not! Jerod is covered!We had an appointment to have all 3 receive their booster next week. I guess that won't be needed for him now. This is one of those cultural things that drives me crazy! I guess our friends brought their son who had chicken pox to our cook-out on Sunday. All of the children were playing with him and I was never told of his chicken pox until today when we mentioned that Jerod had them. However, I probably would have still thought the vaccination would have kept them safe. So far Alex and Annie are spot-free. I am really praying that Annie doesn't get them. If she has them on her sensitive, new skin, she will scratch herself raw! Anyway, that is what is going on here in our home, just itchin'and scratchin'! Sounds like a country song, doesn't it? Well, Missy, you're not suppose to be able to get chicken pox twice either, but I did, and I survived without a single pock mark. Jerod will be one of the few his age to say he actually had them! Better now than as an adult. Will be praying especially that Annie does NOT get them!
