Dear friends,
I only have a few minutes. I will have many pictures to post tomorrow, because it is Holy Friday and they do some really strange things tomorrow in honor of Jesus' death. I will be sure to have my camera handy! Anyway, I just thought all of my sweet friends out there could give me some sympathy. Not too long ago I was having a REALLY bad hair day and put my hair in a pony tail. During the months of Dec,Jan,Feb,Mar,Apr,and May we have no water. We have to have a water truck bring it to us. (The other months we can usually get by using almost pure rain water.)So, to save on water, I hadn't washed my hair in a few days and it was pretty bad. Anyway, I went to church one night and this precious lady pictured above walks in and says, your hair, it looks.....beautiful. I'm thinking...who is she talking to? She comes up to me and touches it and says, it's brushed, it's never brushed, I have never seen your hair look so pretty. You should wear it like that all the time. Okay, do I slap her or hug her? I am still trying to decide! :o) Just KIDDING!! I have now realized that it is because my hair looked like their hair for the first time, so I won't slap, I will hug, but I still took it as a backhanded compliment. Just thought you would enjoy this!

Okay girls, do you really think that if my hair looked like dog poo, I would have let someone take my picture? I do have my limits! The people here don't know if I don't wear makeup and they don't know if I am out of fashion, I guess they do know if I don't wash my hair but for the wrong reasons, but I WILL NOT post it on here for all of AMERICA to see!BUT...I gotta hand it to you, it was a good try! ;o) Love ya!
