Monday Night Update

Hi all,

Greg, the boys, and I (Donny) just left Missy and Annie at the hospital. We have been working hard to day to get some logistical things accomplished. We were able to get the boys out to a fun restaurant today. They have done so well after being cooped up for over 2 days. We have arranged a vehicle for the Woods thanks to Macedonian Call Foundation and we are still working on our long-term housing options. Pray that this would be resolved quickly.

Annie was able to leave the room a good bit today and ride around the hospital in a wagon. We will try to post a video and some more pictures later tonight. She is doing very well considering the circumstances. Her hand is itching and and she is having a hard time getting comfortable.

Greg and Missy are checking your comments frequently. It means a lot to them and the boys are loving seeing that people all over the world are leaving comments.

  3. Hi Annie,

We are praying for you as we heard about your accident from our Sunday School class at our church in Conroe Texas. We pray that you will heal real fast and all the sore spots won't hurt anymore. Do everything the nurses and doctors ask you to do so you can get better and get out of the hospital real soon. Hope you have all kinds of yummie jello and ice cream treats to eat too. God loves you very much and lots of people are praying for you. The Walker Family, Randy, Susan, Michelle, & Melissa.

  17. We received the email from Doug and Dana and have passed it on to prayer warriors, in addition to our church family at Jodeco Baptist, Stockbridge GA. We have watched the process as God has already performed miracles. Just remember, God does not perform half-way miracles. We continue to watch and pray as God is glorified. We love you, Mr. Jim & Mrs. Laura

  19. Dear Missy,

My name is KC Brock, and I am a good friend of Kim Scruggs, sister to your friend Dawn (not sure of last name, but lives in NC) Our family just wanted you to know that your family is supported here in Columbia,TN in love and prayers. My kids would love to send Annie some mail to help cheer her up. Is there an address at the hospital where we could send a package? I know that things are hard and emotional, frustrating and trying, but know that you are not alone. Your sweet Annie is dear and precious to Our Heavenly Father who holds her tightly in the palm of His Hand. We support you in Christian love and heartfelt prayers.

  30. Hi, Woods Family,
This is Sarita Edgerton and family. We are praying so hard for you and little Annie. May God grant you all peace beyond understanding. After being a part of God's miracle myself this year and almost dying giving birth to our 4th and last, I can attest to His divine intervention. He is still in the business of healing. My church at First Baptist Hendersonville is praying for you. Maybe this will jog your memory. You kept our oldest daughter, Isabela, for us while you were pregnant with Annie and she took her first steps for you! We missed it but you didn't. Now Isabela has prayed for your little girl. Many blessings to you! You will be on our hearts!

  31. Dear Woods family -
There are prayer warriors here in Alabama who are lifting Annie up in prayer. My husband, Andrew, is Holly M's brother. We are so thankful for those who answer the call to foreign missions. And I believe that God is holding each of you close during this time, as he heals Annie's body and pours out his blessings on each of you.
We will continue to pray for your family in the days ahead. God bless you!
Love in Christ from Andrew, Carissa, Murray, and Amber Callan

  35. To the Woods and sweet Annie,

I have been receiving updates from the Weavers(my parents are members of the church where Pamela's dad is pastor). We are the Owens (Jeff, Candy, Nathaniel, Piper and Tanner) and are praying for Annie and the entire family. We do know that God is awesome and works miracles everyday, even when we are too busy to notice. A special prayer for momma as she is strong for Annie, the boys and spouse. We have added you to our prayer group at Johns Creek Baptist Church near Atlanta.

    Sincerely,
    The Owens'
