No tears at bath time!

Yay! Today was the first day in a month where Annie was tear free! It is hard to believe that this accident happened a month ago tomorrow. (Tuesday) We are truly feeling like God has worked a miracle in Annie. After her tear free bath time tonight she said, "God is doing a really good job, isn't He?" Of course Greg and I smiled and said, " Yes, Annie He is doing GREAT!" She even told Greg that he didn't have to act silly tonight if he didn't want to because she wasn't sad! Praise God for that!

I have put a few pictures of our day on here. The first one is of Annie with her new towel from her new friend Hannah. Annie says that this helped bath time a bunch! She really did have an awesome day. As I have mentioned before, we are here in Guatemala for our annual meeting with our company. We are so blessed to be with a company who takes such good care of us, seeing to every need, even the needs of our little ones! Annie had her first try at the Wii game. She had so much fun playing it and you can see in the second picture that her brothers are her biggest fans! In the third picture you can see one of Annie's "aunts" was really rooting for her as well! I took that picture right after Annie missed her long jump! Annie says,"Aunt Barb is fun!" Thanks for your continued prayers, we feel them! Love you!

  3. WHAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! A tear-free day!! You've been through such a trial to get there, but Annie is learning God's faithfulness even through the valleys! What a strong woman of God she will be one day!

Missy, you absolutely SHOULD continue the blog. I've been trying to get my life scheduled to get a good one going for us for nearly 6 months. So many people have told us they would stay on top of praying better if they had up-to-the-minute information. After all . . . a picture IS worth a thousand words!

Can't wait until you're ALL home and we can give you a hug! Tell Jarod and Alex that we really miss them, too. Looks like they'll beat Christian home, since he's stayed to work for the month of July, too. I might have to borrow a boy!!!

Tell Annie I will send her a picture of Isidro and Luisa's little Maria via your e-mail. I think she's Annie's biggest prayer covering here! ;-) She asks about Annie EVERY time I see her, which is often.

    Love you guys!

  4. WOW!!! Virginia and I specifically prayed last night that Annie's baths would get so much better, so we are THRILLED to hear this morning that yesterday's bath went so well! Almost every day Virginia says, "I want to look at Annie! I need to check on her." That big smile this morning is just what she wanted to see. What a witness little Annie is already, even to very small children like mine! Thanks for giving us the opportunity to show God's faithfulness to our children through yours!! We love you guys!!

  9. DEAR MISSY AND FAMILY,
My heart is happy to see that Annies bath times are easier. Jerod and Alex, Im happy that your having fun playing and swimming in Quatamala, and that you Annie are having fun with your friends. I wish I were there too. Missy, the lady with her handicrafts brings back fond memories of Carls and my trip to India. The local people were so friendly and happy to sell their beautiful handiwork. I hope you bought something pretty. May your visit to Quatamala be good, may Annie continue to heal and may God continue to bless you and the great mission work you are doing.
    Love,
    Robin
